Senior Manager of Development/Fundraising Rhinebeck, NY ( Job Type Full-time Description The Senior Manager of Development/ Fundraising is responsible for all of Astor's charitable giving. This role helps execute the mission statement and guides Astor to achieve its charitable goals. Working with the Chief of Strategic Initiatives and Development is responsible for cultivating donors, developing outreach strategies, and other fundraising activities. Daily responsibility includes developing fundraising plans, securing financial support, running special cultivation events for donors, and running other projects with the purpose of helping Astor reach its annual goals. This is a hybrid position (office/remote). Requirements Bachelor's degree in related field (Master's degree preferred). A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in fundraising, development, or related roles within the nonprofit sector. Proven success in designing and implementing fundraising strategies that have resulted in increased revenue. Track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with donors, both individual and institutional. Proven ability to cultivate new donors and steward existing relationships. Ability to think strategically and contribute to the development of comprehensive fundraising plans aligned with organizational goals. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to articulate the organization's mission, vision, and impact compellingly to diverse audiences. Proficiency in using fundraising databases. Experience in leveraging data for analysis, reporting, and decision-making. Strong collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, board members, and external stakeholders. Familiarity with the nonprofit sector, specifically in behavioral health or a related field, is highly desirable. Salary Description $80,000-$80,000/yr
