This includes managing data in multiple systems accurately and timely to effectively communicate and report necessary business information internally and externall between the customer and Nidec company.Responsibilities & DutiesMaintains and enters all sales order information in the Company computer system and develops, compiles, and maintains data on customer related issues in PC softwareSelects the product and processes the necessary paperwork to initiate daily shipments based on the customers requested delivery requestsCoordinates customer expedites including quoting the freight charges, logging the expedite for approval, communicating the delivery details internally and externally, and monitoring until closure.Provides customers with requested information through both oral and written communicationExpedites all intra-company functions to assure timely shipment of product. Escalates issues as needed.Coordinates customer expedites including quoting the freight charges, logging the expedite for approval, communicating the delivery details internally and externally, and monitoring until closureAssists in the development of production schedules for specific product linesMonitors customer web sites during prescribed windows of time to identify changes in customer requirements. Modifies internal computer system to reflect these changes.Processes and distributes daily production reports to management and supervisory personnelRecords distribution center complaints and follows ups to assure corrective action is implemented including Return Material AuthorizationsPrepares a variety of weekly or month-end reports for management reviewSupports the Materials Department personnel in data collection, analysis, expediting, and reporting as requiredAssists with annual physical inventorySupports and participates in the Company's management and quality systems, continuous improvement efforts, environmental policies, etc.Performs other duties as required or assignedRequired Qualifications Associate's or 2-Year Degree in related field2-4 years Account Support / Customer Service experienceAutomotive Industry experience preferredOrganized, analytical thinking is a mustStrong PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office requiredExcellent written and oral communication skills, pleasant telephone etiquette and interpersonal skillsRange: $20 - $30 DOE (hourly)Additional Job DetailsEqual Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action at NidecNo SolicitingNidec will not accept unsolicited resumes from individual recruiters or third party recruiting agencies in response to Nidec job postings.
