Required Education/Experience Bachelor's Degree In Engineering and 8 years of relevant experience. or Master's Degree In Engineering and 6 years of relevant experience. Preferred Education/Experience Master's Degree In Engineering and 6 years of relevant experience. Relevant Work Experience Minimum 8 years experience in power engineering, transmission planning analysis, energy markets or operations with a minimum of 6 years experience preferred in the review, development and management of NERC and NPCC electric reliability standards and criteria. Required Demonstrated leadership abilities Required Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Required Computer proficiency and the ability to direct the usage of electronic applications Required Ability to present technical issues and topics to senior executives Required Knowledge of integrated bulk electrical systems, transmission, distribution, and generation, including knowledge of substation layout, design and configurations. Preferred Strong knowledge of electric reliability concepts and fundamentals. Preferred Licenses And Certfications Driver's License Required Professional Engineer (PE) Preferred Additional Physical Demands Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
