Come grow with usJob Description:Bank Consent Order Issue Validation Senior StaffAs a Bank Consent Order Issue Validation Senior Staff, you will assist our clients with transforming their governance, embedding risk in their decision-making, and maintaining efficient compliance. We will enable an entrepreneurial and innovative environment for you to deliver transformative consulting services and to develop deeply specialized skill sets demanded in today's market.You will be responsible for:Providing risk management and operational internal audit services to clients primarily in the banking industry.Assisting in planning and managing staff on engagements, including reviewing staff workpapers and providing feedback and guidance to staff.Conducting fieldwork, preparing workpapers to support conclusions, discussing findings and observations with management, and preparing written reports of various types and formats.Advising clients on how to improve and optimize internal controls, best practices, and helping clients deal with routine issues within the scope of the engagement.Providing other value-added recommendations both to our clients and to help improve the firm.Educational and Professional CredentialsBachelor's Degree is required; Major in Accountancy, Finance or Information Technology is preferred.Professional Certification or working toward CPA, CIA, or CISA strongly preferred.Preferred Knowledge and Skills3-5 years of experience in the areas of operational internal audit, internal controls assessment, and/or Sox 404 evaluation and testingPrior experience should include progressive responsibilities, including supervising and reviewing the work of others, and project management, including self-management of simultaneous work-streams and responsibilities.Exposure to larger financial institutions ($5 billion and up) preferred.Strong written and verbal communication and comprehension both formally and informally to our clients and our teams, in a variety of formats and settings, including in interviews, meetings, calls, e-mails, reports, process narratives, presentations, ternal operational and technology audit planning and execution, including risk assessment ternal control design and effectiveness understandingBusiness process flow and flowchartingGAAP financial accounting and SEC ReportingWillingness to travel up to 25%We expect the candidate to uphold Crowe's values of Care, Trust, and Stewardship.
