Financial Analyst/Accountant 1

Organization & Role There is an immediate opening for a Financial Analyst in the Financial Planning & Analysis group. The position is an exciting and challenging opportunity to support Senior Management in the analysis and consolidation of Total Company reporting. This is a hybrid role and will require in-office presence at our headquarters in North Reading, MA. A successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the ability to work independently, attention to detail, problem solving skills and ability to communicate at a senior level. The Teradyne Finance team is looking for a highly-motivated, energetic Financial Analyst to focus on Financial Planning and Analysis ('FP&A') within the G&A division. Responsibilities Support Total Company roll up of quarterly and interim financial forecasts Provide support for Board of Directors and Earnings Call preparation Prepare investor relations packages, including earnings call slides and investor presentations. Prepare post earnings call analysis summarizing the analysts' commentary. Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis for Senior Management, including peer benchmarking and risk/opportunity analysis Basic Qualifications & Skills 0-2 years of relevant experience Strong analytical skills and ability to think independently. Strong communication and organization skills. Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint Experience with Essbase or other database management systems a plus Education Bachelors degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience.
