Job Description A Materials & Process QC Engineer supports pipeline projects for Quality & Compliance. This position will also provide support for the Materials & Process product line. Key Responsibilities: Material and parts testing Collaborate on in-house testing parameters and strategy for internal vs. external testing Execute on and document process and results for 3D printed specimen fabrication, preparation, and associated testing Own, manage and perform or schedule preventative maintenance for the material testing equipment Facilitate external and company-internal collaboration for material and part testing New materials and equipment testing Install and qualify new equipment in the lab Develop SOPs for use of new equipment when necessary, in collaboration with the manufacturer as appropriate, with the intention to eventually hand equipment off to the broader DevOps group for production work Internal communication and standards Collabroate andlead development of spreadsheets and templates for data collection, organization and basic charts and graphs to capture simple trends Assist in developing SOPs, best practices and Quality & Compliance related knowledge to both share internally to our group, and in a data repository, such as OneDrive Assist in organizing material testing information in a company-wide understandable format and accessible location, such as a SharePoint site Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Materials, Biomedical or Chemical Engineering or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree in the same with 6+ years of relevant fabrication/manufacturing experience Required Experience and Skills: 1+ years' hands-on experience with a polymer fabrication technology (e.g. 3D Printing or Injection Molding) and characterization techniques (e.g. XRCT, SEM, optical microscopy, DSC, hardness, mechanical analysis) Ability to build and work across divisions as well as internal and external teams and vendors Fine attention to detail in post-processing parts to ensure success in IQ OQ PQ qualification Preferred Experience and Skills: Hands on experience in operating and maintaining 3D prin ers Material science experience specific to 3D printing materials Basic coding experience, or experience with working on Microsoft SharePoint and Power Apps for integration Additional Information This position is Full-Time,Monday - Friday, 8a.m. - 5:00p.m. with overtime as needed.
