About Consumer Ad Quality: The Consumer Ad Quality team is part of our Yahoo Consumer Monetization organization. We protect the Yahoo brand and its customers. Responsibilities may include: The lead will oversee all quality related aspects of our platform partners: GAM, Taboola, & prebid which includes but is not limited to defining our strategy, monitoring analytics, defining product feature requests, and making partner optimizations.Support the Consumer Ad Quality team's operational processes, including monitoring of quality metrics, bi-weekly newsletters, and other offline manual checks.Support each of Yahoo's brands by partnering to improve both our supply & demand quality, working closely with cross functional teams such as Consumer Support, Sales, Product, Engineering, Policy, Legal, and the Paranoids.Troubleshoot & investigate both malvertising attacks and traffic quality threats (ie. botnets, non-human traffic, fraudulent data) using platform tools & terface externally on behalf of Yahoo with 3rd party vendors as well as internal product teams.Identify opportunities to create and/or improve operational processes, with an eye toward automationResponsible for tracking daily and monthly usage to ensure we don't have any overages with our 3rd party vendors. The lead will also be responsible for optimizing the account to maximize our usage.Partner with the ad review team & Consumer Support team(s) to ensure the partner is upholding Yahoos' policies. The lead will work with the partner to resolve any concerning trends and/or repeated policy violations.Responsible for educating the rest of the team on our vendors and documenting limitations.Applies specialized knowledge of industry standards/practices (ie. IAB, IAB Tech Lab, TAG) to projects and initiatives for quality strategy. Identify new opportunities & quality initiatives that Yahoo could participate in.Minimum Job Qualifications: 4 years of relevant experience in ad tech or related experienceAccount management, analyst, and/or project management experience is requiredAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionExcellent interpersonal, analytical, communication, and organizational skillsBA preferredYahoo is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
