Recovery Coach Mobile position located in Bedford, MA providing support in surrounding communities $18.00 per hour $19.50 per hour with certification The Edinburg Center is seeking a FT Recovery Coach within our Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS) program. Who You Are: Must identify with significant life disruption due to a mental health diagnosis, substance use, trauma, extreme states, or other systems involvement (homelessness, foster care system, incarceration) that enables the peer support specialist to provide support to those in services in a unique and distinct way. Must be able to identify the supports, resources, and skills that may lead to increased wellness and be able to support others to identify those areas for themselves. Must be eligible to complete a certification that is recognized by the state of Massachusetts, including the Certified Addiction Recovery Coach (CARC). Pathway to Certification will be completed upon hire and Recovery Coach I will be actively mentored to complete certification as required by relevant contract within 6 months of hire. Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required. First Aid and CPR within three months of hire required. What You Will Do: Provides mutual, self-determined support to those in services within the Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS). Works directly with those in services in the community to provide education, supports, resources, and skills development based on a person-directed approach. Collaborate with the assigned team to support holistic and comprehensive services. Attend peer support mentorship meetings to increase skill towards relevant certification and actively pursue education necessary for relevant contracts.
