Ohio Means Jobs Cleveland Cuyahoga is sourcing for a Maintenance Technician. The Maintenance Staff Person is responsible for the general maintenance & up-keep of multiple building sites. This includes some exterior duties as well as interior building duties. Essential Job Responsibilities Routinely maintain all large systems (i.e. HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.), according to LMM maintenance schedule Routinely perform warm-weather landscape maintenance, as needed Performs regular building inspection as assigned to ensure safety of all staff, clients & visitors Performs incidental maintenance, repairs, installations and building duties as assigned ? Identify potential maintenance issues and bring them to attention of Maintenance Supervisor Builds and maintains positive relationships with all RSC staff Availability for emergency situations is necessary Other Job Responsibilities Actively participates in quality improvement activities of the program/agency Maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct in terms of privacy of client information and adherence to confidentiality policies & upholds the service philosophy Comply with policies and procedures governing the program and agency and consults with appropriate administrative staff regarding issues posing potential risk Build and maintain positive relationships with peers and other programs and departments within the organization Perform other duties as assigned that support the mission of the agency Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Some training or experience with facilities maintenance helpful Ability to go up and down stairs and do the physical reaching, bending and climbing that is necessary to perform these duties Knowledge of basic building maintenance preferred High attention to detail and deadlines Good communication skills and ability to work well with others NOTE: The individual must possess these skills and abilities or, using some other combination of skills and abilities, be able to explain and/or demonstrate that he/she can perform the essential responsibilities of the job with or without reasonable accommodations. Qualification Standards High School Diploma or GED required Previous experience in related field Ability to perform multiple tasks and follow directions Candidates need to pass a background check and possess a valid driver's license or have access to public transportation. Shifts available are 1st (8am-5pm) and 2nd (5pm-11pm) candidates will work 40 hours per week.
