This requires us to deliver on our promises and always look for new opportunities to grow, both ourselves and our business.Job PurposeThe successful candidate will manage a large portfolio of non-complex electric projects throughout their lifecycle, engaging key stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of scope, cost, schedule, and customer satisfaction.Key AccountabilitiesAccurately maintain detailed project schedules monthly in Primavera P6 including project requirements, activity and milestone dates, resourcing, status, etc.Accurately maintain project budgets and forecasts monthlyEnsure compliance with National Grid's financial governance policies and procedures including Delegation of Authority (sanctioning) and accrualsEnsure compliance with regulatory and other mandatory targetsPrepare for and attend workplan and other stakeholder meetingsAssemble project teams comprised of various project stakeholders and host project specific meetings to resolve risks or persistent issuesEnsure timely completion of reports as required by the businessMonitor performance against key performance indicators and adjust ways of working as necessary to achieve a high level of performanceChallenge existing ways of working and facilitate improvements to company best practices to achieve the highest level of efficiency and performanceManage expected project completion dates in National Grid's Work Management System (STORMS)Provide leadership and oversight to a large group of internal and external stakeholders, driving efficiency and effectiveness, key strategies and processes to successfully deliver fiscal year targetsIdentify and mitigate risks to the project delivery process including but not limited to permitting, logistical, material, resource, contractual and cost constraintsEffectively support interfacing teams and company initiativesSupervisory/Interpersonal- Experience Required Sound experience of successful project delivery and project team leadership skills. Good influencing and negotiating skills. Good communication skills.QualificationsBachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in one of the following or related fields: Project Management, Business, Engineering, Construction Management or Utility Operations. Relevant experience in lieu of a degree will be consideredDemonstrate a high level of personal initiative, integrity, and ability to interact with stakeholders in a positive and collaborative mannerKnowledge of National Grid's business operations, company policies and procedures preferredExcellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skillsDemonstrate an ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrate an ability to independently resolve conflictsMore Information#LI-DF1#LI-HYBRIDSalary$91,000 - $107,000 a yearThis position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills.
