We are currently bidding on a contract providing support to the Picatinny NEC in improving the functionality of the overall delivery of Information Technology Services (ITS) and Administrative Telephone Services (ATS) on Picatinny Arsenal. This opportunity is contingent upon a successful contract award to Oneida Technical Solutions. Job Summary: The Configuration Manager is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of configuration management processes across multiple projects. This role combines the technical expertise of a CAD Operator, the operational oversight of a Site Manager, and the strategic leadership of a Program and Project Manager. The Configuration Manager ensures that all configuration activities are conducted in alignment with project objectives, program requirements, and organizational standards, contributing to the successful delivery of complex projects. Key Responsibilities: Configuration Management: Develop and maintain configuration management processes and procedures. Ensure all configuration activities comply with regulatory requirements and organizational standards. Maintain accurate records of configuration changes, baselines, and audits. CAD Operations (DCWF011): Utilize Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to create and manage detailed engineering drawings and models. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure that design specifications are accurately represented in CAD models. Manage the version control of CAD files, ensuring consistency and accuracy across projects. Site Management (DCWF011): Oversee the day-to-day operations at project sites, ensuring that work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. Coordinate with on-site teams to manage resources, address issues, and maintain compliance with safety and quality standards. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to project plans. Program Management (DCWF801): Lead the planning and execution of large-scale programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Manage program budgets, schedules, and resources to deliver successful outcomes. Engage with stakeholders to communicate program status, risks, and opportunities. Project Management (DCWF801): Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring that milestones are met. Lead project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project execution. Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to configuration management and project execution. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project outcomes. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and quality assurance, to ensure alignment on project goals. Facilitate meetings, prepare reports, and provide updates to senior management and stakeholders. Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality assurance processes to ensure that all project deliverables meet the required standards. Conduct audits and reviews to ensure compliance with configuration management policies. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. At least 5-7 years of experience in configuration management, CAD operations, site management, program management, or project management. Proficiency in CAD software and configuration management tools. Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, Agile). Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities. Secret Clearance Required Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Certification in Configuration Management (e.g., CMII, CMPIC). Experience in the defense, aerospace, or construction industries. PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification.
