This is a newly created position that will be responsible for driving progress and business ownership, supporting case development, defining portfolio and initiative level financial and operational success metrics, and engaging with internal and external customers and vendors to ensure execution excellence and sound change management. Prudential Group Insurance initiatives will encompass multiple product and service domains across a broad set of customer segments. As a utility player, you will partner with cross-functional delivery teams, 3rd party vendors, and enterprise shared service functions, as single point of accountability for business initiative progress, providing regular updates to Group Insurance leadership and interested parties.The current employee work arrangement for this position is Hybrid with work from home flexibility. You will need to be within a commutable distance to a Prudential office and plan to be in the office at least twice per week.What you can expect:Drive the successful management 2-3 Group Insurance portfolio programs across multiple domainsRally cross functional teams throughout the enterprise and hold teams accountable for deliverables and business resultsLeverage business knowledge and expertise to achieve desired outcomesFreely contribute unique opinions based on your experience while actively seeking the perspective of othersWhat youll need:4-year bachelors degree or equivalent work experience with minimum of 3 years of Group Insurance industry experience3 years of portfolio management, management consulting, product development, or operations experienceSuccessfully led at least 3 or more mid-sized, cross-functional strategic programsSelf-starter, highly motivated, strategic problem solver who can lead independent customer conversations and provide necessary thought leadership on program directionCan define and drive program related business results, leveraging both business and technology disciplinesStrong, proven communication, collaboration, and consensus building skillsAbility to adjust communication style and content to all levels in the organizationExperience synthesizing conceptual strategies and information into defendable portfolio insightsComfortable with data analysis and presenting data in a meaningful wayHighly organized and energetic with an entrepreneurial approachSuccessful Group Insurance acumen and familiarity with a broad range of business processes beyond those impacted by your assigned book of portfolio initiativesAble to effectively collaborate with various levels of an organization to review portfolio performanceItd be a plus if you had:Group Insurance financial experience in financial planning and analysis or distribution, sales enablementExperience in content creation and storytellingGroup insurance product management and distribution experienceGroup Insurance industry knowledgePrudential supports all applicants, even if you don't meet every requirement.
