Description The Warehouse Shift Lead would manage production, team members, safety, quality, and 5s.Perform and adapt duties while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards, as well as performing minor maintenance of all associated equipment. Capable of operating warehouse machinery and ability to fill in for all positions within the scope of the department and the knowledge to train others. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Safety Compliance. Production Efficiency. The ability to delegate responsibilities to ensure that production runs efficiently. Ability to adhere to Operation Leads instructions. Daily production data entry /production amount of Scrap. Write work instructions and procedures. Process/Continuous improvement ideas to increase production in the most efficient amount of time. Document and report safety issues. Payroll/Timesheets daily data entry Follow all company rules and procedures and enforce all the company policies and procedures daily. Forklift and crane operation. Safety audits/house cleaning audits. Training new team members with proper documentation. Work in Stratix (ERP). Scrap tracking sheets need to be filled and signed off as needed, Performs all additional duties as requested by the Manager / Operations Lead. Coordinate counseling sessions with associates as needed with Operations Leads. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Direct reports. Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training team members; planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, addressing complaints, and resolving issues. QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or general education degree (GED) At least 2 years related Supervisory experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Excellent attendance, strong communication skills, proven leadership skills, and strong teamwork skills Preferred experience using and operating the following equipment and tools: Micrometer, Tape Measure, Marking Pen, Calipers, Scale, Fork Truck, side load Fork Truck, Auto-bander, and Sheet lifter Strong Mathematical, Language skills, and reasoning ability Preferred Certificates and Licenses: Fork Truck Training, Safety Training, Fire Extinguisher Training, etc. JOB HOURS: 1ST SHIFT 5 AM-3:30 PM Monday-Thursday 2nd SHIFT 3 PM-1:30 AM Monday-Thursday SIGN-ON Bonus for all new OPS employees $1,000 After the first 90 Days Full Benefits (Health, Dental, Vision, Company Sponsored Life Insurance, 401k Match etc.) Uniforms are provided, Boot Reimbursement Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
