Role Overview: The Global Wealth and Asset Management Legal Department is seeking a Legal Specialist to facilitate seamless communication between the Board of Trustees and internal departments across multiple corporate governance workstreams. This role involves close collaboration with a team of governance paralegals, the Chief Legal Officer, the Paralegal Director, and attorneys to ensure that the Board of Trustees' needs are met efficiently, discreetly, and thoughtfully. Location: Boston (Hybrid: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in the office; Mondays and Fridays Work from Home) Key Responsibilities: Meeting Coordination: Organize quarterly and ad hoc Board meetings. Develop project plans and timelines with key stakeholders. Manage overall meeting logistics and coordinate with non-Board, non-Management attendees. Oversee and participate meeting orchestration and participant coordination. Drive process improvements. Communication and Project Management: Act as a liaison between Board members and management on routine and non-routine Board matters. Serve as a point of contact for all Board-related communications and support. Assist with the preparation of presentations and Board reference materials. Manage the Board portal 'Diligent Boards.' Coordinate with Senior Management/Committee Executive Sponsors on Board and Committee meeting-related issues. Balance competing demands and prioritize critical tasks with the highest level of professionalism and attention to detail. What You'll Bring: Experience: 4-6 years of corporate governance experience (experience with the '1940 Act' is preferred). Proven success in project management, administration, or a related field requiring strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Exposure to working with Board of Directors and/or Senior Executive Leadership is a plus. Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate. Skills: Excellent oral and written communication abilities. Strong relationship-building skills to effectively navigate an environment that values interpersonal connections. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently with a sense of urgency and discretion, especially when handling confidential data. Proficiency in managing calendars, executive logistics, and presentation creation. Primary Location Boston, Massachusetts Working Arrangement Hybrid Salary range is expected to be between $68,475.00 USD - $114,125.00 USD If you are applying for this role outside of the primary location, please contact for the salary range for your location. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
