Position Summary: Yeshiva University High School for Boys (MTA) is looking for a dynamic, caring, organized, knowledgeable, and thoughtful English teacher to serve as an instructor for the 24-25 academic year.Position Responsibilities:The candidate will teach a variety of sections and grades. Our English classes place a significant emphasis on writing, and a successful instructor will be able to help our students push themselves and grow in this very important area.Experience & Educational Background:Teaching experience and Masters degree preferred.Skills & Competencies:The ideal candidate will first and foremost be passionate about student growth as well as the teaching of English in a high school setting and have a warm and engaging personality that can be used in developing meaningful relationships with each student. They will have mastery of educational pedagogy and a strong knowledge of literature, writing, and language arts curriculum, but will also be strongly motivated by continued opportunities to grow and develop as an effective educator.
