Position Summary: The Program Administrator will oversee the UTS programming for our undergraduate population - including all additional shiurim, chatbots, speakers, etc. The Program Administrator reports to the Dean of Undergraduate Torah Studies and UTS Operations Manager.Position Responsibilities:Liaison for Shabbos programming in Yeshiva:Plan programming with Student LifeInvite Rebbeim to join for ShabbosCoordinate on-campus Shabbatonim for IBC/JSSDevelop and coordinate with SOY and OSL all yeshiva programming -OrientationSpecial Elul SichotElul TorahthonSichot MussarChanukah ProgrammingPre-Pesach shiurimYom HaatzmautShavuotYeshivat Bein HasemesterimJune ZmanOversee Night Seder Staff and ChaburotCoordination of Chaburot / Night Seder options, including pairing chavrusasWork with mashgichim to produce 'Guide to the Yeshiva'Facilitate special visits to campus: Israeli Chief Rabbis, Roshei Yeshiva, and Rabbanim from other communities (including the Sefardic community)PublicityManagement of signboards in GlueckCoordinate fliers for all programming events (w/ Rob Shur) Work with Assistant to Dean on writing up summaries from events for YU newsletters/ website/ chavrusa etcRegularly lead/teach groups of students in preparation for their Talmud coursesExperience & Educational Background:Bachelor's Degree2+ years of managing programming and events2+ years of administrative experience2+ years managing staff or studentsPrior experience working with college studentsKnowledge of orthodox Jewish customs and holidaysHebrew speakerSkills & Competencies:Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong written and verbal communicationSupervisory skillsTech Savvy - MS Office, design skillsSalary Range:$38.50 - $38.50 per hourAbout Us: Founded in 1886, Yeshiva University (YU) has a strong tradition of combining Jewish scholarship with academic excellence and achievement in the liberal arts, sciences, medicine, law, business, social work, Jewish studies, education, psychology, and more.
