Job Overview: The Director of Merchandise Financial Planning will work closely with Senior Vice President of Merchandise Planning and Allocation along with Category Directors, Finance, Pricing and Channel Leads. This position will integrate merchandise strategies within the development and execution of financial plans across all business segments. The position will review and reforecast sales and margin trends by segment. This role will lead the management of inventory and Open-to-Buy across Leslie's entire business. The Director of Merchandise Financial Planning will work closely with Senior Vice President of Merchandise Planning and Allocation along with Category Directors, Finance, Pricing and Channel Leads. Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of Merchandise Financial Planners Create merchandise financial plans by Segment/Channel Created detailed financial models to project sales, margins, inventory, and other key metrics Ability to conduct sensitivity analysis to evaluate impact of different variables Align financial plans with product assortment and inventory strategies Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to stakeholders and Senior Management Manage inventory and Open-to-Buy for the Leslie's enterprise, including acquired companies Monitor and measure financial performance and recommend corrective actions Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree Merchandise Financial Planning Experience Strong Excel functions VLOOKUP pivot tables macros Retail Experience (preferred) Leslie's provides a robust benefits package, including: Comprehensive medical, pharmacy, dental, & vision plan options.
