Job Description Exciting Opportunity at MSK: The Critical Care Service at MSK is designed as a multidisciplinary partnership that unites key partners and specialists involved in the oversight of critical and progressive care at MSK. Our goals include streamlining, standardizing, and improving the quality of critical care services as well as the patient flow of acutely ill patients across MSK. We are looking for a GME Coordinator who will assist in all aspects of the Residency Rotator Program and Fellowships. Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment? We want you to join us Role Overview: Answer questions from prospective applicants, review applications, and recommend candidates to interview based on a checklist/match requirements Coordinate/arrange interviews with the candidate and faculty Onboard new joiners, e.g., with respect to orientation, housing, MSK systems, paperwork, trainee manual, training programs Communicate with internal departments and external groups, e.g., other hospitals in connection with rotating/joint programs Coordinate semi-annual and annual review processes, including evaluation collection Responsible for event planning logistics, e.g., graduation, parties, dinners, etc. Administer accreditation processes by collating documents, submitting timely information, monitoring overall progress and compliance Manage database of paperwork/documentation to deliver information to program leadership to develop action items Coordinate and facilitate program meetings, special functions/learning labs and writing/distributing minutes Key Qualifications: Familiarity with hospital/health care environment and/or graduate education, GME experience preferred Familiarity with software tools, e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Email/Calendars; ability to use social media Experience with organizational/multi-tasking and administrative tasks, e.g., scheduling meetings, preparing expense reports, organizing information, maintaining confidentiality Core Skills: A good decision-maker, with shown success at making timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward Adept at building partnerships and working collaboratively to meet shared objectives and goals An effective communicator, capable of determining how best to reach different audiences and executing communications based on that understanding Able to operate effectively and independently when necessary, even when things are not clear or the way forward is not obvious Resilient in recovering from setbacks and skilled at finding detours around obstacles Additional Information: #LI-Onsite #ZIPHP #IND Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm Location: 1275 York Avenue Pay Range: $27.80-$43.08 Reports to the Manager, Anesthesiology & Critical Care Helpful Links : MSK Compensation Philosophy ( Review Our Greats Benefits Offerings Closing MSK is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer committed to diversity and inclusion in all aspects of recruiting and employment.
