PDS Tech is currently recruiting for a Global Ops Financial Lead-Supply Chain-Remote Role Job Title: Global Ops Financial Lead Job Type: Full time; Consultant (12 months) Location: Windsor Locks, CT 100% Remote or Hybrid near Windsor Locks, CT Schedule: Monday to Friday; 8:00am to 5:00pm Pay Rate: $64.18 per hour Due to government regulations this position is open only to : 'U.S. Citizens' Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Global Ops Finance Controls Lead to join our collaborative team within the Global Operations Supply Chain Finance functional group. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting financial compliance, ensuring robust SOX internal controls, and driving process improvements across Global Operations Supply Chain functions. The role focuses on ensuring the effectiveness, efficiency, and accuracy of financial reporting while maintaining compliance with GAAP and corporate policy. Key Responsibilities: Financial Compliance Support: Collaborate with the Global Operations (GOPS) Supply Chain teams, including buying and commodity groups, to ensure financial reporting aligns with GAAP and corporate policies. Risk Mitigation: Develop and implement processes to mitigate risks, prevent material misstatements, and ensure accurate financial reporting using Archer tools to monitor internal control assessments. Stakeholder Collaboration: Respond to stakeholder inquiries regarding internal controls, providing guidance, education, and training as needed. Issue Escalation: Identify, escalate, and address internal control deficiencies, ensuring stakeholders understand best practices, expectations, and necessary requirements. Internal Controls Testing: Conduct thorough testing of internal control processes, making recommendations for improvements and ensuring ongoing compliance. Remediation Tracking: Monitor and track remediation actions to completion, working closely with control owners to gather adequate evidence supporting management assertions. Special Assignments: Lead investigations into known issues by analyzing raw data to detect inconsistencies, summarize findings, and recommend process improvements. Process Improvement Projects: Drive process improvement initiatives and support finance transformation efforts, utilizing the CORE framework to enhance and automate financial processes. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and partners to support organizational objectives. Basic Qualifications: Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills, able to manage competing priorities independently. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, developing actionable insights and influencing change. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and data-driven decision-making. Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, including remote partners. Inquisitive mindset, capable of identifying risks, inefficiencies, and driving continuous process improvements. Solid understanding of general business operations, including accounting, auditing, compliance, internal controls, and financial analysis. Education and Experience: Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required. Desired Qualifications: Experience in Supply Chain, Finance, or Accounting. Experience with systems such as SAP, HFM, PowerPoint, Excel, BlackLine (Accounting Recs), Archer (eSOX), and Agile Point (Capex approvals). Additional Information: This position offers the flexibility of working 100% remotely, with the option of a hybrid role for candidates located near Windsor Locks, CT.
