Summary: We are actively seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, proficiency in AWS, Terraform, and a deep understanding of DevOps practices. As a vital team member, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems, contributing significantly to the automation of processes for seamless infrastructure operation. Duties and Responsibilities: Uphold and maintain the platform, coordinating with upstream and downstream applications for seamless integration. Coordinate with vendors and external teams to ensure the health of non-production environments, addressing any outages promptly. Design and implement scalable, reliable infrastructure on AWS using Terraform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system reliability and performance. Automate deployment, monitoring, and maintenance processes to increase efficiency. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues with minimal downtime. Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions. Participate in an on-call rotation to provide support for critical issues. Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to enhance system reliability. Work with other development leads to coordinate releases, taking primary accountability for deployment planning, validation, and post-production care. Participate in necessary triage calls, ensuring ownership and accountability for incident resolution. Lead regression automation and other automation initiatives in collaboration with the vendor team. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven mid-level experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or similar role. Proficiency in AWS services and infrastructure management using Terraform. Solid understanding of DevOps processes, practices, and toolchains. Experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes). Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Ruby. Strong knowledge of networking, security, and system administration. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer AWS Certified Solutions Architect Terraform Associate Certification Any Relevant certifications in DevOps and SRE practices.
