See Yourself as an Secondary Markets Analyst I Responsible for creating and publishing daily rate sheets made available to Radian mortgage lender partners, reviewing and pricing bulk loan pools for both bulk purchases and securitizations, distributing daily reports and completing lock and pricing review requests. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Review, interpret and leverage pricing model and margin targets provided by senior management to create and publish daily rate sheets to Radian mortgage lender partners. Generate updated rate sheets and publish/communicate mid-day pricing changes, as necessary. Participate in daily bulk bidding on mortgage loans from clients and subsequently take down bulk commitments for the loans awarded. Review locks in process including any exceptions and repricing to ensure the locks are accurate and align with the current market. Ensure that any issues with the lock pipeline are addressed in a timely manner. Identify possible issues with the locks and determine when escalation is required. Conduct review of reports to ensure all data is correct. Manage reporting and process for settlement of TBAs and other hedges. This includes confirming trades and ensuring inputs into Compass of trades is accurate. Margin management with counter parties, ensure that reporting and all margins required are sent / received from trading counter parties. Create and distribute other reporting as needed. Also manage daily reconciliation of positions and other operations for the secondary markets team. Conduct testing to ensure pricing and eligibility is working correctly and source solutions if errors are found. Serve as subject matter expert for the software application to support technology development related to the Pricing Engine. Contribute to the process of model and technology improvements across various analytic and database tools. QUALIFICATIONS Basic Education and Prior Work-Related Experience: Degree Requirement: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience Work Experience: 2 or more years of prior work-related experience Additional Qualifications Excellent technical skills with ability to design and maintain complex financial models. Strong analytical skills along with the ability and willingness to effectively make recommendations on transactions based on sound business judgment. Must be able to analyze and interpret large amounts of data and make recommendations with minimal oversite. Experience with a scripting language (SQL, VBA, Python, R), a plus Ability to perform highly detailed work in an environment of multiple interruptions. Strong background in Excel, including ability to summarize data via formulas, lookups, pivot tables. General understanding of pricing/valuation concepts and method. Preferred Years of Prior Work-Related Experience: 2 years of knowledge and analytical expertise in residential mortgage secondary marketing or financial services industry. Must be able to clearly and effectively communicate with various groups within the company as well as various external business partners, both verbally and in writing Highly motivated, self-starter, dependable, responsible and able to use good judgment. Strong organization and time management skills Ability to work independently, with minimal oversight, and as a team player. This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program.
