Role The Philadelphia Health Practice of Milliman is seeking a candidate for an actuarial internship for the Summer of 2025. We are looking for an individual capable of database analysis, spreadsheet creation, and drafting correspondence with a keen eye to detail. The Intern would assist our Analysts and Consultants in their development, checking, and utilization of actuarial models to further completion of timely deliverables. This position provides an excellent entrance opportunity into actuarial analysis post-graduation with a concentration in the Health field. Qualifications Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or a related field. Planned graduation in 2026 or 2027 GPA 3.5 or above Successfully completed one or more Society of Actuaries exams Proficient in Microsoft Excel; programming knowledge a plus (SAS, SQL, VBA, Python, R) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Good attitude and strong work ethic required Location This will be a fully remote position. Compensation The hourly range for this role is $19 to $36, depending on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, location, etc. Benefits When an intern, temporary, or seasonal employee reaches 1,000 hours worked within 12 consecutive months, they become eligible for a 401(k) plan with matching program and profit sharing contribution Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Paid Time Off (PTO) starts accruing on the first day of work and can be used for any reason.
