Citigroup Global Markets Inc. seeks a Corporate Salesperson for its New York, NY location.Duties: Advise Citi's corporate clients on interest rate and foreign exchange risk management strategies. Apply in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contribute to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and workflow for the area or function. Integrate latest market trends and industry expertise to provide holistic risk management hedging solutions. Collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluate moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Filter, prioritize, and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources using analytical skills. Regularly assume informal/formal leadership role within teams with communication and diplomacy skills. Handle outside of the day-to-day client responsibilities. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.Requirements: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Computing & Data Science, or a related field, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation in the financial services industry. Two (2) years of experience must include: Providing advice and guidance to clients on strategic derivatives transactions, including the buying and selling of securities and FX, tailored to align with clients' hedging objectives; Driving team's developed strategy across specified product lines by analyzing clients' businesses and exposures to provide best suited sales solutions in full coordination with all relevant business partners; Executing bespoke structured derivatives for clients and utilizing market insights to assist clients in optimizing their derivative position to capture market opportunities and maximize interest savings; Interfacing with appropriate internal partners to enhance share of mind with clients, increase dialogue, and deliver on expertise; Working in close partnership with control functions including Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, and Finance to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure; and calculating credit usage using CVA and RWA/ Basel concepts to meet adequate returns on transactions. 40 hrs./wk.
