Details are as shown below:JOB TITLE: Senior Software Engineer [SSECC624]WORKSITE: 175 Greenwich St., 57th Floor, New York, NY 10007 Allows for up to 40% telecommuting w/in the U.S.WAGE: $169,229 annuallyJOB DESCRIPTIONAs an individual contributor, mentor and develop other team members including junior software engineers. Define system architecture(s) and explore technical feasibility tradeoffs and capabilities. Translate and implement business requirements into working software and code. Support technical systems and components the team owns on a rotational basis and readily address urgent customer issues. Actively collaborate with stakeholders (Ops, Product, other Engineering teams) on product engineering and software deliverables. Introduce new engineering best practices to the team's technical stack and processes to increase reliability and resiliency of software changes.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSMaster's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Information Science, Analytics, or related field, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related software engineering position. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Information Science, Analytics or related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related software engineering position.SKILLS REQUIREMENTSExperience must include two years in the following: 1) Object oriented and imperative programming languages including Javascript, Python or Go; 2) Software system architecture, design and strategy; 3) Integrating with third party software systems for collateral and property work streams; 4) Full stack software development including frontend, backend and database architecture and design; 5) Working with cloud provider technologies including Amazon Web Services (AWS) in software systems; 6) Working in a collaborative and agile engineering-focused environment; and 7) Collaborating closely with other engineers, product managers and cross functional partners to translate business requirements into technical problems, break down the technical work and build systems that can help scale the underwriting capabilities of businesses.Background checks may be required.APPLICANT INSTRUCTIONS:To apply, submit resume by mail to .
