The Compensation Specialist is capably responsible for conducting research and analysis, and formulating recommendations to ensure compensation practices at FTI are highly competitive and internally equitable. This role recommends and administers compensation plans that are compliant with applicable laws, regulations and company strategies and goals. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field; and/or combination of education and experience. Experience: Proven experience as a Compensation Specialist or similar role Knowledge of current laws and regulations related to compensation Working knowledge of HRIS systems (preferably Workday) and MS Office Excellent communication and organizational skills Attention to detail and accuracy Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Able to work independently and as part of a team Travel: 0-10% Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Participate in the development and implementation of competitive compensation plans and policies Administer surveys and analyze market data to evaluate wage and salary levels Manage administrative tasks to maintain appropriate compensation for job classifications and job profiles Analyze internal salary equity and job worth Conduct audits and reviews of data related to base compensation and incentive plans. May participate in the design and implementation of employee recognition and reward programs Coordinate and collaborate with Talent Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Benefits, and Payroll to ensure accuracy of compensation Research and recommend methods to control compensation costs while remaining competitive in the market Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including Prevailing Wage, FLSA and EEOC Monitor and report on compensation trends Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
