We are seeking an outgoing and organized Hostess to join our team at RARE 297 The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a welcoming demeanor, and the ability to manage reservations and guest seating efficiently. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Greet and welcome guests warmly as they enter the restaurant. - Provide guests with accurate wait time estimates and manage reservations effectively. - Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and introducing the server. - Monitor the dining room and manage seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction. - Answer phone calls and respond to reservation inquiries promptly and professionally. - Maintain an organized reservation book or system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. - Confirm reservations and communicate any special requests to the relevant staff. - Provide information about the restaurant, menu, and any ongoing promotions or events. QUALIFICATIONS - Previous experience as a hostess or in a customer service role required. - Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure. - A positive attitude and a strong commitment to providing exceptional guest service. - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
