School Lunch/Recess Aides 2024 - 2025 School Year

The Pittsford Central School District is seeking school lunch aides to support students during lunch and recess (if applicable) for the 2024-2025 school year. Duties may include but are not limited to: Assisting students in the lunch line Supervision of students while they eat Supervision of students during recess (if applicable) Moderate table and floor cleaning Assisting with food packaging The average work day will consist of 2.5 to 3 hours of work a day, late morning/early afternoon, Monday-Friday, excluding school holidays and vacations. Job Qualifications Successful candidates should possess the following attributes: Experience with children Interpersonal skills Ability to work in a collaborative environment Ability to multitask Ability to work independently with minimal instruction and supervision Ability to be an active listener and exhibit patience and flexibility Ability to show empathy and compassion The Pittsford Central School District will help candidates with attaining the required fingerprint clearance prior to employment.
