Principal Duties & Responsibilities: This position will be located near any of our manufacturing facilities in Norrth America This position requires 50% travel to our plants in North America. Oversee the execution of the Continuous Improvement project portfolio, demonstrating leadership in facilitating, supporting, and/or leading Teams using C.I. tools to achieve planned SQPDIC goals and financial-industrial business targets. You will execute, train, lead, and develop local teams on the correct and practical application of Breakthrough Kaizen Methodology in conjunction with 4 Disciplines of Execution. Help mature and harmonize our Daily Management Methodologies (Tiered Communication Process, Gemba, LSW, LPA, and 6S + RTFT Board) Facilitator expert in TPM, VSM, PULL Systems, Theory of Constraints, Hoshin Kanri and other Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile methodologies identified to enhance Engagement, Business Agility, and Empowerment at all levels within the region. Serve as a conduit for best practice sharing and standardization within or across different Business Units, and/or from outside of Prysmian Group. Oversee the correct exploitation of digital platforms solutions (Industry 4.0) to augment the ability to achieve operational KPI's. Develop training material as required to support alignment to the Operational Excellence Strategy and Operator Centric approach within the Region. Helps drive strategy alignment through the application of the Operational Excellence Assessment (OEA) to evaluate maturity level against internal and enterprise-wide performance standards and partner with local leadership to develop an improvement roadmap to advance maturity. Report on quantitative and qualitative analysis of high-level key operational indicators and C.I. methodologies to identify opportunities for improvement or promote change. Required Competencies, Education, and Experience: Bachelor's degree Required (Preferably in Engineering - Chemical, Industrial, Electrical or Mechanical) Minimum 3 years' experience leading and managing a team Experience using data analysis to drive improvements through the application of Lean and/or Six Sigma tools and concepts; Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification or above Project management experience with a proven track record of meeting timelines or proactively adjusting to achieve planned goals SharePoint, Power BI, and Statistical tools proficiency are a plus (e.g. JMP or Minitab) Strong analytical background - 7 Quality tools, SPC, Hypothesis Testing, Regression, and Correlation Analysis are a plus Prysmian, as an Equal Opportunity Employer, aims to attract and recruit individuals with diverse backgrounds, skills, and abilities.
