FTE: 1.000000 Shift: Flexible 1st shift 7 am to 5 pm with coverage for external community events. Job Summary: The Patient Equity & Inclusion Program Manager engages with patients of and the community groups from the emerging Diverse Markets (defined as Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, Asian American, Native American and LGBTQ+ communities) we serve to guide the organization's efforts to gain deeper understanding of the experience of diverse patients and drive key outcomes for different dimensions of diversity through cultural competency. Translates lessons learned to provide insight and training to our employees to foster continual improvement to overall patient care. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: A minimum of 5 years experience supporting the development of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion awareness in a professional organization. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Bachelors degree in related field. Masters degree in a related field preferred. SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION: Demonstrated experience with working on multi-faceted, results-oriented diversity initiative in an academic, healthcare or corporate enterprise is required. Experience developing and implementing education tools for diversity and inclusion initiatives is required.
