Requisition ID :16742 Employment Type :Full Time Job Category :Human Resources / Learning & Development Work Location :Davidson, NC (CSC) BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY: The Inclusion Specialist is responsible for supporting the development and mobilization of MSC's diversity & inclusion strategy across the organization. Partnering with key stakeholders (i.e. business, human resources) to assist with the execution of D&I strategic plans focused on achieving higher levels of diversity representation, developing inclusive leaders and creating an inclusive environment. In addition, the Specialist provides hyper-focused and detail-oriented support to the Director, DE&I including project management, action plan development, event and training coordination, community/outreach partnerships and more. The Specialist also provides project management support and uses tools/processes for defining project objectives, key stakeholders, timeline and major milestones and tasks, as well as prioritization of projects. The Specialist supports D&I programs through reporting and analytics, system management, action plan development and material preparations DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assists with shaping solutions that draw the connection between diversity, inclusion, and growth for the company. Assists in the execution and delivery of diversity & inclusion programs and initiatives. Responsible for executing D&I; communications activities in collaboration with the internal Corporate Communications team including updating and enhancing the content on D&I; intranet and internet sites Responsible for the creation of MSC's multiyear D&I calendar and social media content to further MSC's D&I branding internally and externally; manage internal D&I SharePoint site (EYC). Supports development and launch of inclusion and diversity training programs, workshops, tools, and resources aligned with Organizational Development to educate, promote and drive the D&I culture. Delivers training on D&I to a wide variety of audiences and train trainers on the HR team. Assists with diversity analytics, including tracking metrics, generating diversity reporting to show trends, and communicating impact across diversity programs and initiatives to influence, support and facilitate organizational change. Supports the development of presentations to advance awareness of key initiatives and demonstrate the impact to the business. Assists with cultivating relationships with key external diversity organizations and vendors that support diversity and inclusion initiatives. Assists with the planning, setup, and breakdown of in-person/virtual meetings, career fairs, events and conferences. Identifies opportunities to improve or streamline processes in support of the team. Collaborates with key partners and stakeholders including but not limited to Corporate Communications, HRBPs, Learning and Organizational Development, Talent Management, Recruiting, HRIS, etc. Provides administrative and tactical support for Diversity initiatives and programs. Provides support to Inclusion Circle resource groups (ICRG's) to ensure alignment and integration of MSC's DEI strategic plans and programming goals. Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC's vision and unity of purpose. Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required QUALIFICATIONS What You Need: Bachelors degree in Business or related field required. Experience creating project plans and event planning to support programs and initiatives required. Excellent time management and interpersonal skills. Strong computer skills, proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint & various databases. High degree of confidentiality and experience handling sensitive information. Ability to establish trust and inspire others through teamwork and collaboration. Demonstrated curiosity and a growth mindset. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Detail-oriented team player with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously; able to work in ambiguous situations. Influencing without authority, thinking and perform proactively, and function independently with discretionary judgment. Ability to interact with all levels of management. Excellent presentation and facilitation skills. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage & connect to diverse groups and individuals. Bonus Points If You Have: Two years of demonstrated working experience in Diversity & Inclusion or related field preferred. Understanding of diversity and inclusion in a corporate environment, preferred. Experience working with Employee Resource Groups or other volunteer groups, preferred. Other Requirements: A valid driver's license may be required. Position requires up to 10% of travel Compensation starting at $50260 - $78980 depending on experience. The salary range represented is based on similar roles in comparable industries, and the cost of labor in respective cities. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's relevant experience, education requirements and peer pay equity.
