You will also serve in other communications and research roles, including supporting and promoting sponsored projects, updating website content, and assisting the directors of both units with preparations for the coming academic year. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Experience marketing a program or idea and/or leading social media campaigns Research experience Experience with social media post scheduling in Metricool or equivalent Experience learning a second language Experience working in a university setting Excellent written and oral communication skills Excellent visual design skills Experience managing a social media account Public speaking experience Experience with standard university tools like Google Suite and Zoom Preferred Qualifications Experience designing content in Canva or equivalent design software Experience recording and editing short-form video Experience managing a website Experience using Drupal, Google Sites, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Asana, and Canvas Experience managing a social media account that is not your own Experience managing a calendar that is not your own Experience with conferencing equipment Experience proofreading documents Project management experience About the Department The mission of the CLA Language Center is to advance second language, literature, culture, and linguistics education by providing leadership in integrating technology with instruction and learning in the College, the University, the state of Minnesota, and beyond.
