What Contract and Billing contributes to Cardinal Health Contracts and Billing is responsible for finance related activities such as customer contract administration customer pricing, rebates, billing. Demonstrates knowledge of financial processes, systems, controls, and work streams. Demonstrates experience working collaboratively in a finance environment coupled with strong internal controls. Possesses understanding of service level goals and objectives when providing customer support. Demonstrates ability to respond to non-standard requests from vendors and customers. Possesses strong organizational skills and prioritizes getting the right things done. Responsibilities Own the interviewing, training and development processes for newly hired staff. Retain qualified employees to maintain appropriate staffing levels. Complete performance evaluations and handle corrective action procedures for employees. Evaluate ongoing training needs and make recommendations to management as needed. Ensure compliance controls are being followed in accordance with laws and regulations as they pertain to HITECH, HIPAA, CMS, etc. Support and demonstrate the Company's values Set and monitor daily production goals for billing staff. Manage and analyze billing work queues. Responsible for maintaining backlog goals in accordance with overall departmental goals for Billing. Interact and collaborate with Sales and Customer Service teams to improve billing process efficiency. Audit quality of production work to ensure appropriate standards are being followed Supervises daily activities for a team of 7 FTE's Acts as the Subject Matter Expert for billing systems, functions and limitations Create procedures and policies for all standard work. Balance workload across resources. Qualifications Bachelors degree in business related field, or equivalent work experience 2+ years experience in related field Previous supervisor experience preferred What is expected of you and others at this level Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of operations, or business support staff Administers and executes policies and procedures Ensures employees operate within guidelines Decisions have a direct impact on work unit operations and customers Frequently interacts with subordinates, customers and peer groups at various management levels Interactions normally involve information exchange and basic problem resolution Anticipated salary range: $65,500 - $93,500 Bonus eligible: No Benefits: Cardinal Health offers a wide variety of benefits and programs to support health and well-being.
