Let's Redefine Possible PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION Mortenson is currently seekingan Early Talent Relations Lead to join the College Recruiting and Student Program team.The College Recruiting and Student Programs team is a fast-growing function thatengages,inspires,and recruits the next generation of leaders into the company. The College Recruiting Lead positionwill focus on developing best in class strategies that result in the recruitment of superior, early career talent. This role will focus primarily on the external execution of our college recruiting efforts, ensuring a unified company-wide strategy that supports the needs of our growing business.Reporting to theCollege Recruiting and Student Programs leader, this role is a supervisory position that will oversee College Recruiting team members. Location:Minnesota (must be local) KEY RESULT AREAS (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS) Lead the team in the development and execution of college recruitment strategiesthat support our growing business. Supervise the team and hire the quality and quantity of candidates set by business leadership, ensuring alignment with ourdiversityinitiatives. Manage day-to-day college recruiting execution, while also performing the work being supervised, as needed. Provideinternshipand full-time offers to students, as needed. Lead campus recruiting activities to hire intern and full-timestudents.This includes: Customer Relationship (CRM) and Applicant TrackingSystem(ATS) management In-person school strategy and college Champion teams Virtual event strategy Training employees who engage and interview prospective intern and full-time candidates Managing candidates throughout the recruitinglife cycleandmaintainingrecords in the applicant tracking system Managing college recruiting events and measuring/tracking key success metrics Aligning candidates toprojectsites Design a superior candidate experience, devising new strategies that engage and inspire students seeking intern and full-timeopportunities. Develop strong relationships with internalpartners, including Operating Groups, Learning & Development, TalentPartnersand Compensation to ensure a superior candidate experience. Partner with recruitment marketing to ensureour messaging is relevant,engaging, and inspiring. Engage company leadership to understand the business and to gain detailed understanding of organizational goals and needs. Meetannual hiring hire forecastsasdeterminedby business leadership. Lead discussions with business leadership to place students on project sites Recommend internal policies, processes and procedures that increase the quality of intern and full-time applicants. Maintain and report metrics to ensure continuous improvement. Collaborate with the Early Talent Relations Lead and InternshipSpecialist to best leverage resources across the organization. Ensure data integrity and accuracy across recruiting systems and throughout all steps of the campus recruiting process. Manage the college recruiting budget, develop proposals and monitor expenditures. Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, legal developments, technologicaladvancements, and competitive benchmarking. Measure and analyze key metrics around campus recruiting efforts. Work closely with corporate recruiters to ensure continuity of the company's broader recruiting efforts. Perform relevant job duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Demonstrated ability to make recommendation on hiring decisions to upper management. Strong understanding of talent acquisition processes and best practices. Strong teamwork orientation, coaching, and mentoring skills. Ability to use PC and widely used software packages, e.g., spreadsheets (Excel), word processing (MS Word), HRIS/database. Acti e listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedback. Ability to travel up to 25%. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree Human Resources Management, or a related field. Minimum seven years recruiting/HR experience or a combination of higher education and experience. Previous experience leading teams of talent acquisition professional preferred. Previous experience leading diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives preferred. Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position.
