Job Description An employer is seeking a Training Specialist to join their Connecticut based team. The majority of this role will be done remotely with a requirement of one day onsite in Hartford per week. This is open because the executive department is in process of replacing their current child welfare system. This system is used by all agency staff to promote efficiency and improve family outcomes. This resource will work closely with the system integrator in sprint teams for this massive upgrade project. This project is anticipated to take 24 months, followed by 2-3 years of enhancement work once the legacy system is fully overhauled. They are in need of a Training Specialist to lead the project team from a training perspective. They will collaborate with the state training academy to create trainings for users throughout the development stage, and work with the team to gather the necessary information to put training materials together and actually facilitate these training to the necessary staff and end users. The Training Specialist will deliver training in person and remotely, in for small and large groups. They will assist with needs analysis, design, and development of training courses for agency staff, and evaluate the effectiveness of training material and content delivery methods. They will coordinate session logistics and evaluate the overall development of the training strategy for the project. They will also oversee the vendor training deliverables.
