Job Description Insight Global is looking for an IT Support Technician to join one of our largest financial service clients sitting in New York, NY. This individual will be joining the Shared Support organization and working with an onsite team of 12 other technicians to support roughly 10,000 end users. The ideal candidate will be career oriented with extensive experience in a hands-on IT support role, excellent communication skills, ability to interact/support with C-level executives and a willingness to learn new technologies. Most of the work load revolves around break/fix and event planning/preparation but could vary with any ad-hoc requests from the end users. This person should have experience supporting a wide variety of end user technologies (desktops, printers, laptops, connectivity, AV, conference rooms, etc.) and be looking to grow within an organization. This role is 100% onsite, so this candidate must be comfortable working onsite 5 days a week. It will be an ongoing contract that has the potential to extend into a permanent opportunity down the line. Skills and Requirements 3+ years of professional experience in an IT Support role within an enterprise organization "ƒ Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn new technologies "ƒ Experience supporting both Windows and UNIX/Linus environments "ƒ Extensive experience with hardware related issues including break/fix, workstation setups and breakdowns, shipping equipment to users, etc. "ƒ Experience with Excel to organize inventory management "ƒ Comfortable working 5 days a week onsite Experience supporting AV or Video Conference rooms.
