Tufts Medicine Lowell General Hospital is seeking an Administrative Assistant at Greater Lowell Health Alliance. Hours: Part-Time , 20 hours weekly, Mon-Fri office hours Location: 55 Technology Dr. Lowell, MA Preferred Public Health Major or Public Health background Job Profile Summary "‹This role focuses on providing administrative and business support to the organization in order to achieve operational goals. In addition, this role focuses on performing the following General Administration duties: Produces documents, collects, records, sorts and files information, handles mail, prepares routine reports, makes travel arrangements, arranges appointments, responds to inquiries, data entry, and operates office equipment. An organizational related support or service (administrative or clerical) role or a role that focuses on support of daily business activities (e.g., technical, clinical, non-clinical) operating in a 'hands on' environment. The majority of time is spent in the delivery of support services or activities, typically under supervision. An entry level role that typically requires little to no prior knowledge or experience, work is routine or follows standard procedures, work is closely supervised, and communicates information that requires little explanation or interpretation. Minimum Qualifications : High School diploma or equivalent. One (1) year of related experience. Preferred Qualifications : Three (3) years of related experience. QuickBooks, WordPress Public Health Major or Public Health background Duties and Responsibilities : The duties and responsibilities listed below are intended to describe the general nature of work and are not intended to be an all-inclusive list. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned. Assists the regular logistics for meetings, minutes, notices, and priority initiatives. Assists in the preparations for collateral materials to recruit of new members to join the Task Forces. Assists Executive Director in the strategy and planning processes for new initiatives. When requested, accompanies Executive Director to community meetings and partner organization activities. Assists with the logistics and notifications for the GLHA activities and events Assists with GLHA communications as needed (including the website, newsletters and social medial) Assists in the logistics, preparation of collateral materials, and successful implementation of meetings and other special events. Maintains good communication and dialogue with the Executive Director regarding the successful operations of the GLHA. Maintains flexibility to support and participate in other duties that may be assigned. Requires proficient computer skills in Outlook, Word, Excel, Constant Contact, PowerPoint and typing ability, and internet research skills. Also calls for excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with diverse populations, cultures and backgrounds.
