Location: Brooksby Village by Erickson Senior Living Brooksby Village is a beautiful 90-acre continuing care retirement community located just 20 minutes from Boston in Peabody, Massachusetts. We are hiring a full-time Housekeeping Team Lead to support our Environmental Services Team. In this role you will support the Housekeeping Supervisor in providing leadership, direction, and guidance to the Housekeeping team. You will schedule daily work assignments, complete work orders, train new team members, and maintain the cleanliness and safety of all assigned areas. Full-time position: 7:30a-4:00p Week 1 = Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday Week 2=Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday Friday Compensation: commensurate with experience starting at $17.25/ hour How you will make an impact: Providing leadership, direction, and support to the Housekeepers under the guidance of the Housekeeping Supervisor and Housekeeping Manager Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of assigned areas. Completing assigned work orders and following a detailed schedule May be asked to assist with set-ups, requiring movement of furniture. Scheduling and supervising daily work assignments Training, mentoring and coaching new employees. Ability to work independently and as a contributing team member Ability to use and operate all required equipment Ability to demonstrate professional and responsive interactions with residents and their family members, staff, vendors, and each other Strong knowledge of Housekeeping operations.
