This Position is for a Security Officer Level I with a business in Pearl, MS. We Are Hiring Full Time and Part Time Evenings and Overnights throughout the Jackson Metro Area Positions Available: Thursday-Sundays 3:00p.m. to 11:00p.m. Thursday- Sundays 4:00p.m. to 12:00a.m. Friday, Saturday, Sundays 9:00p.m. to 1:00a.m. Full Time 3:00p.m. to 11:00p.m. rotating off weekends Full Time 11:00p.m. to 7:00a.m. rotating off Weekends Full Time 5p.m. to 5a.m. Rotating off Weekends Part Time 4:00p.m to 9:00p.m. Wednesday-Sunday Full Time Midnight: 8:00a.m. Rotating Off Weekends Part Time Saturday and Sundays 7:00a.m. to 7:00p.m. Part Time Saturday and Sundays 7:00p.m. to 7:00a.m. Part Time Thursday to Sunday 7:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Key Job Responsibilities: Patrols on foot or stands in assigned area to ensure safety and security. Provides customer service and performs general duties. Uses proper communication skills for radio and telephone. Prepares daily activity reports, Incident Reports, Offense Reports, Fire Reports, etc. Maintains appearance and equipment. Education and Experience: You must have experience in Carrying a Firearm. Have a Security Guard Permit or a Concealed Carry license. 1 or More Years experience in a related field is also a must. This Job Requires Weekends, Nights and Holidays. Must pass a background and drug test.Knowledge of security and criminal investigation methods and operations commensurate with education/experience.Ability to carry out assigned duties with integrity and honesty.Skill in applying appropriate behavior when greeting and assisting members of the public.Possession of a valid drivers license. Ability to understand and prepare written materials at a moderate level, such as Incident Reports, as would be acquired through completion of high school. Ability to communicate verbally with Associates and visitors. Ability to work without close supervision and to exercise independent judgment. Ability to organize multiple tasks and maintain control of work flow. Ability to maintain working relationship with co-workers. Education and Experience: Must be at least 21. Use of Medical Marijuana will be a disqualifying factor, you cannot carry a firearm on duty if you use Marijuana. Physical Requirements: The physical activities of this position may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion. Must have good balance and coordination. The physical requirements of this position are: heavy work - exerting up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 50 lbs. of force frequently. The Associate is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity, such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; or extensive reading. The Associate may be required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned (i.e., custodial, food services, general laborer, etc.) or to make general observations of facilities or structures (i.e., security guard, inspection, etc.). Periodically to frequently use physical force to resolve an emergency situation. Ability to successfully participate and complete departmental specific required training that includes physical, hands on training and competencies. We requi e quarterly firearm qualifications along with firearm safety training. We do an additional 40 hours of yearly training that includes active shooter, CPR/First Aid, de-escalation, and other categories.
