Mail Room ClerkLHH Recruiting is seeking a dedicated Mail Room Clerk for out client in Mesa, AZ on a contract to hire basis. This role will manage the daily operations of the mail room as well as data entry functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate functional reporting, processing incoming mail, and collaborating with various partners to ensure seamless mailroom operations.Key Responsibilities:Functional Reporting: Accurately maintain functional reporting to track mailroom activities and performance.Mail Processing: Open, count, sort, review, and scan incoming mail to ensure it is distributed correctly and efficiently.Quality Assurance: Audit source documents against established rules to maintain high standards of quality and accuracy.Knowledge Development: Develop and maintain product, process, and technical knowledge related to mailroom processes and services.Performance Goals: Meet the performance goals established for the position, ensuring timely and accurate mail processing.Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and external partners to facilitate smooth mailroom operations and address any munication: Exhibit effective verbal and interpersonal communication skills tailored to the audience to enhance teamwork and operational efficiency.Issue Reporting: Notify leadership of any system issues, client concerns, process breakdowns, and other feedback to ensure quick review and resolution.Special Projects: Assist with special projects from leadership on an as-needed basis to support the overall goals of the organization.Qualifications:Proven experience in a mailroom or similar administrative role, ideally 1 year or more.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Ability to develop and maintain knowledge of processes and services.Effective communication skills, both verbal and interpersonal.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).Pay Details: $16.00 to $17.00 per hourSearch managed by: Chris Collins Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
