Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist - Real Estate/ConstructionEmployment Type: Contract-to-HirePay: $25 - $30 per hour (based on experience)Work Environment: 100% OnsiteKey Responsibilities:Review, code, and process high-volume invoices related to construction projects, ensuring proper approvals and accurate cost coding.Match purchase orders, contracts, and receipts to invoices, verifying accuracy and resolving any discrepancies.Prepare and issue payments, including checks, ACH transfers, and wire payments, according to established schedules.Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any outstanding issues in a timely manner.Monitor and track lien waivers and other compliance documentation for subcontractors and vendors.Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to ensure accurate financial reporting on project expenses.Maintain detailed records of all accounts payable transactions in the accounting system.Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals and AP reporting for construction projects.Support audits by providing documentation related to accounts payable and project-related expenses.Assist with process improvements to enhance efficiency and streamline AP operations within the construction environment.Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hourSearch managed by: Nikki Caudill Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
