We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant of External Reporting to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with the External Reporting Manager to ensure the accuracy and compliance of our financial reporting. This position is critical for maintaining the integrity of our financial disclosures and supporting our commitment to transparency with investors and regulatory bodies.Salary: $37-$40/hr. Contract : 3-4 Months Job Title: Senior Accountant of External ReportingLocation: Philadelphia, PAKey Responsibilities:SEC Reporting: Manage and complete SEC reporting for various forms, including 10-K, 10-Q, and other required filings. Ensure all reports are accurate, timely, and comply with SEC regulations.Financial Data Management: Oversee the collection, analysis, and management of financial data for various investors. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information.Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough analyses of financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal and external ternal Controls Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal controls, including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements. Identify and implement improvements to internal control processes.Technical Research: Perform technical accounting research as needed to support accurate financial reporting and compliance with new accounting standards.Process Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to improve overall functions and team productivity. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Collaboration: Assist public accountants and other external auditors in relevant accounting duties. Provide necessary documentation and support during audits.Requirements:Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.Professional Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting. Experience in external reporting and SEC reporting is highly desirable.Technical Skills: Strong understanding of GAAP and SEC regulations. Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools.Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable munication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively interact with leadership, investors, and external auditors.Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and contribute to a positive work environment.Preferred Qualifications:Certifications: CPA or CMA certification is a dustry Experience: Previous experience in the chemical manufacturing industry is advantageous.Software Proficiency: Experience with financial software and ERP systems, such as SAP, is preferred.Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
