Staff Accountant LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Staff Accountant to work in Vernon Hills, IL. This role would be onsite for training and hybrid thereafter. The main requirement for this role is either accounting experience or education as well as strong excel skills such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP's. Everyone helps each other out and sometimes they need to wear multiple hats if another person is out of the office so cross training is important. Worksite Location - Hybrid - 2 days onsite, 3 days remote after being fully trained onsite in Vernon Hills Salary - $65-70K Software - Accounting ERP system, Excel- pivot tables, VLOOKUP's Duties:Month-end close - journal entries, recording financial transactions into the system.Preparation of financial data and statements for upper managementAssisting with annual budget preparation and audit work preparation and paperworkReconciliations, fixed assets, prepaid expenses, deferred revenue and reclassificationsAR invoicing to clients, monthly sales reports and commission reportsEmployee Benefits- Medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, LTD and STD, EAP, 401K, PTO.
