POSITION SUMMARY:nWorking as part of the recruitment team by managing candidate communications, promoting job openings, and assisting with various aspects of the hiring process. Duties will include, but are not limited to, fielding calls and emails from candidates, promoting job opportunities on social media and other recruiting platforms, tracking pre-employment requirements for new hires and reconciling staffing agency invoices and other duties as assigned.nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:nnThis hybrid position will be required to work in our Corporate Office at least one half day per week based on your team's schedulenField phone calls from candidates and respond to inquiries via email promptly and professionallynPromote open job positions on social media and other recruiting platforms to attract qualified candidates and monitor and respond to engagementnTrack pre-employment requirements for new hires, ensuring all necessary pre-employment requirements are completednMaintain candidate records and status updates in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or other recruitment documentsnReconcile staffing agency invoices and period billingnAssist with other administrative tasks related to candidate generation, candidate prescreening, interview scheduling, and the recruitment processes as needednConduct compensation surveys to monitor competitor salary offeringsnMaintain accurate notes and recordsnPerform special assignments and projects as requested including supporting other areas of HR department as needednDeliver outstanding customer servicenDisplay ethical standards beyond reproachnDemonstrate exceptional attention to detail in all aspects of work performednnMust be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodationnMINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:nn4-year degree or equivalent combination of education and experiencenDegree in Human Resources or related discipline preferred (PHR certification is a plus)nExperience working in Human Resources preferrednProficient in Microsoft applications: Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPointnExperience with HR systems and web-based applications, specifically UKG and Workday experience desirablenExperience working in a Corporate Office environmentnExperience working as part of a teamnStrong organizational, multi-tasking and problem-solving skillsnMotivated self-starter who can work with minimal supervisionnAbility to effectively craft and deliver a message verbally and in writingnAbility to work under pressure, meet deadlines, prioritize and multi-tasknnMINIMUM PHYSICAL ABILITIES: nnMust be able to:nnremain standing/sitting for several hours at a timenlift 10-30 lbs. occasionallynnnnPREFERRED EXPERIENCE: nnA blend of administrative and Human Resource support in an office environmentnSignificant experience and computer expertise with programs like Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint are essentialnnCOMPETENCIES/SKILLS: Some of the Competencies/Skills required to successfully perform this position are:nnAdaptability-maintaining effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work tasks or the work environment; adjusting effectively to work within new work structures, processes, requirements or culturesnBuilding Strategic Working Relationships-developing and using collaborative relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goalsnBuilding Trust-interacting with Kroger employees, customers and suppliers in a way that gives Kroger Division and Corporate Management confidence in one's intentions and those of the organizationnCommunication-clearly conveying information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in the English languagenCustomer Focus-making Kroger customers and their needs a primary focus of one's actions; developing and sustaining productive relationships with Kroger employees as well as the suppliers that we representnDecision Making-identifying and understanding issues, problems and opportunities; comparing data from different sources to draw conclusions; using effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions; taking action that is consistent with available facts, constraints and probable consequencesnInclusion-appreciating and leveraging the capabilities, insights and ideas of all individuals; working effectively with individuals of diverse style, ability and motivation for a direct effect on business resultsnInitiating Action-taking prompt action to accomplish objectives; taking action to achieve goals beyond what is required; being proactive; generating innovative solutions in work situationsnSelf-Starter-working the majority of the time without direct supervision; prioritizing, organizing and completing workload accurately within allotted time periodnWork Standards-setting high standards of performance for self and others; assuming responsibility and accountability for successfully completing assignments or tasks; self-imposing standards of excellence rather than having standards imposedn
