Nesco Resource is partnering with a top pharmaceutical manufacturer in the search for a Plant Supervisor. This is a full-time permanent position that will be located in their facility in Fall River. If you have plant supervisory experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing setting, apply nowResponsibilities Direct sections of manufacturing process development projects. Assist in complex engineering projects to improve plant operations. Daily maintenance and monitoring of equipment for reliability. Participate in designing, implementing, and monitoring continuous improvement. Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment. Evaluate and repair machinery using skills, tools, and parts. Raise change controls for facility and equipment changes. Prepare operation, maintenance, and engineering procedures. Fill deviation reports for CAPAs and change controls. Implement procedures per cGMP guidelines by QA. Monitor cleanliness, maintenance, and upkeep of the facility and equipment. Install and troubleshoot facility electrical systems. Coordinate Technology/Product Transfer with other departments. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements. Coordinate with central utility for quality utilities. Raise Capital Expenditure Requisition and work orders in SAP. Maintain electrical distribution system and plan for energy conservation. Perform preventive maintenance of production equipment and machinery. Handle breakdown and preventive maintenance of Client equipment. Check daily alarms in Client and plan maintenance. Operate Client and service floor equipment. Ensure completion of calibration activities. Monitor and maintain records of purified water system.Requirements 3 years' experience in mechanical maintenance and electrical work in a pharmaceutical or industrial setting. High school diploma/GED required. BS degree or advanced vocational training in related field preferred. Understanding of machines used in pharmaceutical manufacturing. Influence decision making and facilitate work completion towards business goals. Full knowledge of HVAC system with Client controls. DI water system maintenance and vendor coordination. Knowledge of facility plumbing, including domestic water and sewer. Carpentry skills for following blueprints, installing structures, and repairing frameworks. Proficient in HVAC, electrical, and janitorial systems. Strong knowledge of boiler maintenance and operations. Strong knowledge of plumbing, building maintenance, and inspections. Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team. Capable of troubleshooting, investigations, and root cause analysis. Handle and participate in compliance and regulatory audits. Proficient in Microsoft Office tools. Experience with SAP business system is a plus. Experience in Inhalation products (MDI) is a plus.
