Team members employed at the Westin Buffalo receive Marriott travel discounts world-wide.Train and supervise the front desk team members to ensure adherence to quality standards, deadlines, and proper procedures; evaluate team member job performance and recommend appropriate rewards or corrective actions.Provide team members with guidance on handling difficult problems or in resolving escalated guest complaints.Implement policies, procedures, and service standards in conjunction with management.Prepare and issue work schedules, deadlines, and duty assignments for office or administrative team members.Coordinate with housekeeping department.At least 2 years' experience in hospitality, front desk experience is preferred.Prior supervisory experience preferred.Computer literate in MS Office programs; some experience with property management systems preferred.Must be fluent in English language both spoken and written.No college degree required.Stand and walk for extended periods of time.Must be able to walk, bend, twist, crouch, push, pull and climb stairs throughout shift.
