The HR Generalist is a full-time onsite opportunity. The HR generalist will support business leaders and HR leadership in making decisions related to daily operations. This role will participate in improvement of policies and procedures and handle all onsite and remote employee relations. The HR Generalist position requires an extremely perceptive person who is capable of independently working and supporting business leaders at all levels. The ideal candidate will have five years of progressive leadership experience in HR in areas including employee relations performance management training and HRIS.Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Administer various human resource plans and proceduresLiaison with recruiting management and IT to successfully onboard new hiresAssist with new hire orientations as neededFacilitate training and education for managers and employeesHandle employee relations mediation including counseling investigations and addressing day-to-day needsParticipate in developing department goals objectives and systemsFacilitate cultural eventsProvide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves benefits compensation and resolve any issues that may ariseAssist in maintaining employee related databases including the Human Resource Information System (HRIS)Prepare and analyze reports for departments as necessaryUphold compliance with federal and state regulations related to employmentReview and process termination paperworkProject management for various HR projects and onsite projects related to business operationsSkills/Abilities: Relationship managementExperienced in high volume associate relations employment law and practices Strong organizational and time management skillsAptitude in problem solving in a high volume environmentHigh degree of fluency in Microsoft Office - Word Excel Google SuiteAbility to juggle multiple tasks while providing excellent customer serviceAbility to work independently and autonomouslyEffective oral and written communicationExcellent interpersonal skillsExcellent attention to detail Education and Experience: Minimum of Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required5 years of progressive experience in HR rolesUKG experience preferredCertificates/Licenses/Registration:HR certification preferredPhysical Requirements: Work is performed indoors with potential for exposure to safety and health hazards related to office work. Could periodically travel to other office and operational sites. This role is fully onsite.
