Logistics Analyst, Entry - JR2423601 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: The Logistics Analyst will be the first contact for PPG USCA AC compliance related fines and disputes generated by National Account and large Trade customers and any transportation operations questions/issues for those accounts. You will also support OSD (overage, shortages, damages) that occur within the US and Canada. You will work a hybrid schedule and report to the Transportation Manager. Key Responsibilities: Compliance and Fine Dispute Pull data from BI/SAP to build reporting for carrier compliance and fine disputes on a monthly/weekly basis. Analyze customer fine data side by side with BI/SAP data to filter which fines are applicable for dispute. Dispute customer fines via portal/email and tracking success/failure rate to build monthly reporting. Provide fine analysis to the National Account Managers and Sales Team to create process improvements with goal being to lessen fine impact. Transportation Operations & OSD - National Accounts Support field sales by analyzing carrier complaints and providing solutions for poor performance while minimizing freight impact. Submit, track, and follow up on any transportation claims for National Accounts and backup coverage for Trade through the OSD inbox within US and Canada. Review claims checks and maintain spreadsheet updates. Provide field sales with options for high visibility shipments that require specialized solutions with carriers and DC's to set them up. Field requests from customers regarding ASN transmittal issues/delays. Analyze LTL carrier compliance reporting aimed at lowering freight spend by utilizing low-cost carrier options. Create/update carrier constraints within OTM (Oracle Transportation Management) to ensure carriers are assigned to shipments that are compliant with customer routing guides. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field, will also consider Customer Service and Supply Chain experience. 2+ years of experience in the logistics industry or related industry Proficiency in computer databases, statistic applications and logistics programs Experience in data mining and analysis. Familiarity with supply chain processes (e.g. inventory planning, warehouse management) Travel up to 20% PPG pay ranges and benefits can vary by location which allows us to compensate employees competitively in different geographic markets.
