As Senior Analyst, Plant Finance, Circleville & Delaware, you will be part of the Operations Accounting team under the Global Business Finance Support (GBFS) organization. You will support our Circleville and Delaware facilities and will be a critical member of the plant leadership teams, contributing to and leading performance improvement plans at the facilities. Through detailed and insightful analytics, you will help to identify areas of focus for productivity and cost improvement and will work cross functionally to ensure alignment, engagement and progress toward clearly defined project goals and deliverables. You will report to the Operations Accounting Manager, who is located in the GBFS headquarters in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania. There is potential that this role will supervise one direct report. You will be onsite five days a week with time split between Circleville and Delaware near the Columbus, Ohio area with periodic travel to our GBFS headquarters in Cranberry Township, PA. Key Responsibilities Participate in plant meetings to provide insight on results, collect information and challenge performance. Support and/ or lead plant plans to control costs of operations. Support the generation, analysis and explain the drivers for local and business unit KPIs. Work with the Operations Analyst to provide variance analysis and full understanding of plant level results. Lead plant wide budget process coordinating all departments and promoting productivity and cost savings plans and targets. Partner with the Operations Analyst in developing short- and long-term reliable estimates of the level of expense to be incurred by the plant related to expected volumes. Complete month end closing activities such as calculation or approval of journal entries, review of account balances and explanation of results to business unit finance. Work with the plant leadership team to develop and execute a strategic roadmap for capital spending; ensure most critical projects are completed on time, on budget and are embedded in plans. Conduct post-completion analysis of critical investments (capital or otherwise) to ensure key deliverables - both financial and operational - are met. Work with demand and supply teams to ensure visibility and optimize inventory health in raw materials, WIP, and finished goods. Work with the MRO store room employees to verify inventory on hand is correct and that the inventory levels are appropriate. Support Operations Accounting and Plant Operations team as the on-site liaison to optimize inventory. Ensure inventory accuracy and drive improvement around excess and obsolete inventory. Work with the Operations Analyst to ensure that product costing reflects plant operations at a product level. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field with 5+ years of experience. Prior cost accounting or manufacturing financial support experience required. Travel 2-3 times per year to the Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania location.
