Utilizing a dialer and manual queues execute 100-150 outbound phone calls per day as well as accepting inbound to debtors with outstanding balances on government, retail, or medical accounts. Clearly communicate all information to customers, working to negotiate payments and settlements Ensure accurate payment information is collected and process all payments in a timely manner. Input and update all debtor information, following proper procedures as instructed. The Tax Collector will achieve and/or exceed all goals and quotas. Handle confidential tax and financial information in a highly professional and ethical manner. Document all activities in computer system. Extensive skip tracing to locate debtors and information that the client can't or did not provide Document all information into collection software system. The ideal Tax Collector will perform other administrative tasks as requested. Start Date: July 15, 2024 Pay Rate: $20 an hour for the first 6 months then moves to $17 an hour + monthly bonus potential Hours: Monday through Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm (4 days a week) and one day a week from 10:00am-6:30pm. Training: 1 week of onsite training at our office: 3711 Chester Ave Cleveland, OH 44114, then 100% work from home afterwards Requirements At the least 1-5 years of consumer or commercial third party collections experience in a tax or accounting environment Ability to handle confidential information in a sensitive manner. The Tax Collector must have proficient computer skills. High school diploma or GED.
