This is a role that reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing for the Point of Care (POC) business line. The Vice President, Global Head of Indirect Markets will provide strategic leadership over the business line's sales plans to achieve company revenue targets across 60+ countries through dedicated business (distributor) partners. The role oversees approximately 30+ FTEs globally. The role can be located in either the North or Latin America region or Europe. Your role: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue targets, meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and expand market share in the SHS Point of Care (POC) diagnostics portfolio across >60 targeted countries in Latin America, Europe, Africa and Asia Pacific Lead, mentor, and inspire comprehensive commercial teams across dedicated geographies and markets via their contractually dedicated Business (Distributor) Partners to exceed sales goals and deliver exceptional customer experience across critical care, primary care and emergency care settings in both public and private customer channels Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry partners to drive business growth and identify new opportunities across product portfolios and markets Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and development utilizing targeted sales strategies in conjunction with POC Global Commercial Excellence teams Hire, develop and coach extraordinary staff members and sales leaders / professionals who execute and administer complex sales strategies to accelerate growth, address customer pain-points and maximize long-term partnerships with Siemens Healthineers (SHS) POC Collaborate with internal teams including but limited to marketing, product development, service and sales operations as needed to ensure alignment of sales efforts with overall business objectives and Business Partners capabilities and commitments Working cross functionally with other SHS teams such as Key Accounts, Government Affairs and Enterprise Solutions to further develop and drive our business opportunities, while ensuring customers meet or exceed contractual obligations Drive sales process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the sales organization, including implementing instrument installations and ongoing support Provide reporting, insight and analysis of sales performance metrics, forecasts, and pipeline activity to executive leadership as required in conjunction with Global Commercial Excellence Proactively monitor industry developments, regulatory changes, and technological advancements to influence sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge in the market Budget responsibility for travel and expenses for Global Indirect teams, including the responsibility to oversee and manage spending in line with the company's goals and expectations Your expertise: Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred Minimum of 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in the diagnostic, medical technology, or point of care industry, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets in multiple geographies, including via Business/Distribution partners. Experience managing direct reports required. Extensive and proven understanding of sales processes, techniques, and methodologies, with documented success in consultative selling and complex sales cycles Demonstrated experience negotiating, winning and maintaining a portfolio of material contracts and tenders Experience in commercial strategy, including sales, pricing, reimbursement and policy Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve results Excels at conflict management to eliminate where possible barriers to success Proven track record in leading projects to successful completion Proven track record of building and retaining world class leadership teams and driving engagement through the organization while managing, developing, and growing a diverse workforce. Naturally connects and builds strong relationships with others, demonstrating strong emotional intelligence and an ability to communicate clearly and persuasively. An ability to inspire trust and followership in others through compelling influence, powerful charisma, passion in his/her beliefs, and active drive. Ability to prioritize multiple deliverables and comfortable leading during environments of ambiguity or conflicting priorities Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales plans, identify market opportunities, and drive business growth across multiple geographies Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and metrics to make informed decisions and drive performance improvements Must possess outstanding oral and written communication skills, including ability to present highly technical topics in a clear and concise manner Proven ability to present and effectively communicate to customers, direct reports and also SHS executive management Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to adapt quickly to changing external and internal priorities, market conditions and new opportunities Knowledge of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices in the diagnostic, medical technology, and particularly point of care sectors in multiple geographies Able to work remotely and travel to support sales activities and engage with customers, partners, teammates and attend industry events as needed across the dedicated indirect markets.
